Isaac’s Journey in Ministry
I was born on June 13, 1975 to the late Eng. Henry Wassanyi Serukenya and Mrs Edith Serukenya in a musical family of seven children.
In 1986, I got born again at Kampala Pentecostal Church (now Watoto Church) and started a lifetime journey as a born again Christian under the pastoral covering of Pastors Gary and Marilyn Skinner.
In 1990, God led me to move to Miracle Centre Cathedral to be pastored by Pastors Robert and Jessica Kayanja.
I served as a music pastor, singer, producer, songwriter, Music Director and Worship Leader for Miracle Centre Cathedral, and as a book author for 30 years in the same church under the pastoral covering and mentorship of Pastors Robert and Jessica Kayanja. During this time, I also pastored, mentored and led the music ministry growing it from just a few to over 250 people, many of whom have gone on to be powerful ministers in their calling.
In January 2021, I responded to the call of God to leave Miracle Centre and begin “Simply Ministry”. I was released with the full blessing of my Pastors Robert and Jessica Kayanja and the Pastoral team. On March 01, 2021, I started a journey of obedience to the call of God in Simply Ministry.
I am a husband to one wife, Janet and a father of four beautiful children. In July 2021, I and my wife Janet made 20 years in marriage!
I am a Consultant Electrical Engineer with both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering with over 20 years of experience in power lines and substations. Over the past 15 years, I have also been a Director and held several senior management positions including being CEO at NEWPLAN Ltd, a top engineering consultancy firm in the East African region.
Most importantly, I am a born again Christian who really loves the Lord Jesus Christ. I have a heart for ministry and a passion for Worship. I am passionate about mentorship and seeing others grow in their ministry and the knowledge of God, grounded in His Word and doing better in all areas of life.
